understanding of the healthcare system, and a passion for improving patients' access and outcomes.
Julie Eagle - Founder
Benri Health is the brainchild of Julie Eskay Eagle, an entrepreneur and investor who is passionate about making health care information more accessible. Julie is the co-founder and former CEO of Dragonfly Data, and member of the Board of Advisors of the Sloan Health Care Administration program at the Jed Brooks School of Public Policy at Cornell University. She graduated with a degree in Medical Ethics from Cornell University, then went on to complete an MBA from Columbia Business School. Julie formed Benri Health with Dave Sosnow after launching DragonflyPHD, which processed vaccinations and COVID services for over 3 million people. Julie has held leadership positions with The Wellcome Trust Investments Division, where she managed over 30 public and private investments in the health care sector, and several early stage companies, and began her career in health care with Lazard Freres and McKinsey & Co.
Dave Sosnow
Dave spent his early career in health care management and technology consulting and was one of the founding members of Price Waterhouse’s Managed Care Consulting practice. In 1999 he joined his first software company, E.piphany, and became a member of the leadership team that led the company to its IPO and subsequent ($12B+ peak valuation). After E.piphany, Dave demonstrated his versatility in executive roles leading professional services, product strategy and engineering functions before serving as President of Latista Technologies – a division of Textura Corp. (NYSE: TXTR). In 2017, following the sale of Textura to Oracle, Dave joined the American Medical Association as Vice President of Marketing and Product Management. There Dave worked with healthcare leaders in practice, industry and government to tackle critical health system issues including physician shortages, chronic disease management, advancing health equity, and streamlining health administration.
In 2022 Dave left the AMA and founded Benri Health with the goal of building a company that would accelerate solutions to systemic health care problems. Dave is a graduate of Cornell University and holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
